Message from Our Principal

Welcome to Saint Mary’s School of Winchester.

         August 2017

Dear Parents and Families,

My name is Kellie Kickham and I am excited to introduce myself as the new Principal of St. Mary’s School. I am grateful to Father Michael and the principal search committee for allowing me the opportunity to lead this wonderful school community. Before joining St. Mary’s, I served as the Assistant Principal at St. Agatha School in Milton, Massachusetts.

My academic background includes a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Massachusetts Boston and a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education and American Studies at Boston College. Most recently, I completed a fellowship at the Lynch Leadership Academy at Boston College. As you can see, education is something I value greatly. I am the first person in my extended family to graduate from college and earn a graduate degree. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught a variety of grade levels at Charleston Catholic in Charleston, South Carolina and most recently at St. Agatha School in Milton.

I am eagerly anticipating working with the faculty and staff at St. Mary’s to provide students with a nurturing environment, which allows each child to grow deeper in their spiritual faith and achieve their full academic potential. Thank you for choosing Catholic Education for your child. As a student at St. Mary’s, your child will learn to be a disciple of Jesus and engage in service learning. My hope is to inspire the students at St. Mary’s to become lifelong learners.

I recognize that I am entering into a new community, which will require me to gain your trust. I am committed to building constructive and trusting relationships with all members of the St. Mary’s Winchester community. I am excited to meet all of the students and parents here at St. Mary’s. Together, we will collectively strengthen the mission of St. Mary’s to nurture, educate, and empower our students.

There will be many opportunities for you to share your time and talents with us this school year. Please get involved with the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) to ensure that your voices are heard or send me an email directly at

Thank you for the opportunity to serve your families in this role! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas you would like to share.

God Bless,

Kellie Kickham, M.Ed
